Czech president says Turkey a dynamic, fast-growing country

ADANA (A.A) - February 16, 2012 - President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus said on Thursday that Turkey was a dynamic and fast-growing country. Delivering a speech in the meeting of Turkish-Czech Business Forum at the Adana Chamber of Industry, Klaus said that he held fruitful talks with Turkish officials. Klaus said during his visit with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, they saw there were several cooperation possibilities between the two countries. Czech Republic attached a great importance to improvement of cooperation with Turkey, he said. Klaus said his country fully supported Turkey's EU accession process, stating that EU needed Turkey, as Turkey would make great contributions to the EU. Czech Industry & Trade Minister Martin Kuba said that there has been a great progress in economic relations between the two countries in the recent period, stating that trade volume reached 3 billion U.S. dollars.
