DEFENSE MINISTER RECEIVED BY EMIR OF QATAR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia is satisfied with widening relations and cooperation with Qatar in all spheres. It was said by Mr D.Bat-Erdene, the Minister of Defense, during a meeting on Tuesday with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, within his official visit to the country. The dignitaries exchanged views on importance of activating the bilateral cooperation in a way of co-implementing the biggest projects. They also emphasized a vital role of the defense collaboration in a development of the relations and cooperation. The Minister gave to His Highness an invitation from the President Ts.Elbegdorj to visit Mongolia. It was received thankfully. The same day, the Minister held official talks with Major-General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah, the Minister of State for Defense Affairs. The sides shared views on a present situation of the bilateral defense cooperation, its prospects, future measures, international and regional issues.
