Envoy: West Not Ready For Constructive Dialog With Tehran

New York, June 30, IRNA – Iran Ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations said it does not seem that west is ready for a constructive dialogue with Iran. In a press conference here on Friday afternoon, Mohammad Khazaei said Iranians know how to face with foreign pressures and won't surrender to illegitimate desires of west. He added that the main axis of talks between Group 5+1 with Tehran is to recognize Iran’s right to enrich uranium. He went on to say upon article 4 of Non Proliferation Treaty all members are entitled to develop their own nuclear program with peaceful goals. Meanwhile, Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili in a letter to European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton, who is the main negotiator of G 5+1, warned about discouraging behavior in the issue of talks and sanctions./end
