Foreign Ministers of Russia and Japan pay special attention to economic cooperation - Minister Lavrov

TOKYO, April 15. /TASS/. Special attention was paid to cooperation in trade and economy and investment spheres in the course of Russia-Japan negotiations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Friday after talks with his Japan’s counterpart Fumio Kishida. "Several very important events took place lately with participation of relevant ministers of both countries and business community representatives," Lavrov said. "We agree to continue working within the framework of the intergovernmental commission and its subcommittees," he added. The parties are ready "to make preparation of bilateral agreements more active, particularly in spheres of investment conditions, labor relations, and social insurance," Lavrov said. Read more
