French Analyst: Paris Seeking Nuclear Agreement With Tehran

Tehran, Nov 21, IRNA – A French researcher has said that Paris is seeking a nuclear agreement with Tehran during Iran-5+1 nuclear talks currently underway in Geneva, Switzerland. Speaking to IRNA exclusively, Thierry Coville said Paris deal-breaking approach during the previous round of talks between Iran and sextet (US, Britain, Russia, China and France plus Germany) held in Geneva on November 7-9, was adopted under the influence of the Zionist lobbies. During the previous round of talks, France delayed making an agreement raising certain conditions. Performance of the French team halted the talks. Iran’s negotiating team headed by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is currently in Geneva for the third round of nuclear talks with the G5+1. Coville who is a researcher and an expert on Iran at the Institute de Relations Internationales et Strategiques (IRIS), told IRNA that Paris latest stance was resulted from its decision to approach certain Arab states including Saudi Arabia./end
