IAEA chief calls for resumption of talks with Iran

TEHRAN, April 14 (MNA) – International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Yukiya Amano called for the resumption of dialogue with Iran to help resolve disputes over the country’s nuclear program. Cooperation of all concerned parties is required to help resolve the disputes, Amano said in an interview with the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Friday. The new round of talks between Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) will start in Istanbul on Saturday after a hiatus of 15 months. Amano emphasized the importance of the Istanbul meeting and expressed hope that it would yield good results and help the IAEA in resolving the issues.
