Iran, China call for peaceful settlement of Syrian crisis

TEHRAN,Dec.15(MNA) - During a meeting in Beijing on Thursday, Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian deputy foreign minister for Asian and Oceanian affairs, and Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi emphasized that the crisis in Syria should be resolved through peaceful means. The two sides also discussed bilateral ties and a number of other regional issues, including the issue of Afghanistan.
