Iran Dismisses AP Speculation On Bilateral Talks With US

Tehran, Nov 25, IRNA – Iran on Sunday dismissed speculation by the Associated Press about bilateral talks with United States. Foreign Ministry official rejected AP report about bilateral talks between Tehran and Washington . As Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif earlier said no other dialog has taken place between Iran and the US other than the nuclear issues in the context of Iran-Group 5+1 nuclear negotiations, the official said. Such speculation creates ambiguity over Iran’s clear-cut stance and interactive approach about the nuclear issue, he said. He called on the media to pay attention to the repercussions of such speculations which can affect the confidence-building following the deal clinched in Geneva./end
