Iran, Namibia Navy Commanders Meet

Tehran, Oct 9, IRNA – Iran’s Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari discussed avenues for developing interaction and cooperation in the field of marine affairs with his Namibian counterpart Peter Vilho late Tuesday. The two commanders also viewed ways to strengthen bilateral ties and friendship between the two states and promote interaction between their naval forces. The meeting was also attended by a number of the two countries’ navy commanders. Namibia is a country in southern Africa whose western border is the Atlantic Ocean. It shares land borders with Angola and Zambia to the north, Botswana to the east and South Africa to the south and east./end
