Iran-Pakistan To Launch Joint Military Drill In Hormuz Strait

Tehran, April 6, IRNA – Naval forces of Iran and Pakistan are to launch a joint military exercise in eastern part of the Hormuz Strait on April 8, it was reported on Sunday. To this end, a Pakistani fleet docked at Bandar Abbas, capital city of Iranˈs Hormuzgan Province, on April 5, said the report by public relations department of Iranˈs Navy. The fleet, comprising a missile-launcher warship, a logistic warship and an advanced submarine, entered the Iranian waters carrying a message of peace and friendship. The military exercise is aimed at promoting military interaction between the two capitals.
