Iran Speaker: Zionist Regime Acts Show Political Isolation Of The Regime

Tehran, Nov 18, IRNA – Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said that oppressed people of Gaza and Palestine need help of Islamic world more than any other time, adding that recent Zionist regime acts indicate political isolation of this ominous regime. According to the report of Majlis Media Department on Saturday afternoon, Larijani made the remarks in a telephone conversation with his Jordanian counterpart Tahir al-Masri. He added that barbaric acts of the Zionist regime in its all-out sea, air and ground attacks against the oppressed people of Gaza show the peak of its political isolation. Larijani strongly condemned extensive attacks of the Zionist regime against Gaza and called for practical move in support of Palestinians and condemnation of recent crimes of the Zionist regime. Al-Masri, for his part, expressed sorrow for repeated attacks of the Zionist regime against Palestinians in Gaza Strip and said that today situation is more dangerous than past for Palestinian citizens and they need support and determination of Islamic states. He said that Jordanian senior officials like other Muslim states officials have made a great effort to prevent policy of Judaisation of Quds city by the Zionist regime. The speaker called for participation of all Islamic countries to confront invasion policies of the Zionist regime in the region. In the past two days, Larijani in telephone conversations with his counterparts in Islamic countries as well as secretary general of world Inter-Parliamentary Union and secretary general of Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union has tried to condemn crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza./end
