Iranian Majlis speaker to attend quartet meeting in Iraq

TEHRAN, March 11 (MNA) – Iranian parliament speaker’s advisor on international issues, Hossein Sheikholeslam, announced on Saturday that Majlis speaker Ali Larijani will participate in a quartet meeting in Baghdad. The Parliament speakers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iraq will also attend the meeting. During the 5th International Conference in Support for Palestine’s Intifada in Tehran in early October 2011, the speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Usama Abdu'l Aziz al-Nujayfi invited his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani to participate the meeting, Sheikholeslam told reporters.
