Iranian MPs in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, July 24, IRNA – An Iranian parliamentary delegation arrived here Wednesday morning to extend a message of Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani to his Malaysian counterpart Tan Sri Amin Mulia . Larijani in his message has invited Mulia to attend the swearing-in ceremony of president-elect Hassan Rohani slated for August 4. He also has underlined the need to enhance parliamentary relations between the two nations. The Iranian parliamentary delegation will then proceed to Indonesia. The main objective of the visits is to invite Indonesian and Malaysian speakers to Rohani’s inauguration ceremony. Meanwhile, Iranian lawmaker Mohammad-Saleh Jokar had said that the fate of Iranian nationals held in detention in the two countries will be also discussed by members of the Iranian delegation and officials of the two countries. Rohani’s swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to be held on August 4, one day after his endorsement by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei./end
