Iraq’s Zebari hopes Iran-5+1 talks will be positive

SHARM EL-SHEIKH, May 12 (MNA) - Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari expressed hope that the next round of nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany), which is scheduled to be held in Baghdad on May 23, would yield positive results. Zebari made the remarks during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on May 9 held on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement. He also stated that Iraq is making every effort to successfully host the meeting.
