IRGC Busts Terrorist Team SW Iran

Tehran, April 8, IRNA – Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said on Monday that a terrorist team, affiliated to foreign espionage services, was identified and busted in southwestern Khuzestan province last month. In a statement on Monday, the statement said the group was haunted down following receipt of tips that the group had been involved in organizing and dispatching an operational team to conduct terrorist and sabotage activities in Iran. It added that the terrorists were to launch psychological operations, plant bombs, do sabotage activities in certain sensitive places and centers, identify and assassinate figures, spread panic in the society./end
