IRNA Calls For Co-op With Leader’s Office On Hajj News

Medina, Saudi Arabia, July 6, IRNA – Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) in a meeting with Supreme Leader’s Representative in Medina voiced IRNA’s readiness to cooperate with Supreme Leader’s Office here in Hajj-related issues. Majid Omidi Shahraki and Hojjatoleslam Najaf Najafi Rohani in their meeting discussed ways for further cooperation in the field of news dissemination between IRNA and Supreme Leader’s office. Omidi Shahraki said that IRNA previously had an office in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, but activities of that office have now halted. Shahraki, however, voiced hope that IRNA’s office would once again resume its activities in the Saudi capital. Hojjatoleslam Najafi Rohani, for his part, said that the media undoubtedly play an undeniable role in promotion of cultural activities of Hajj pilgrimage.
