Larijani Urges West To Change Deceitful Approach

Tehran, May 22, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said here on Tuesday that the Iranian nation expects the West to change deceitful approach and modify its past behavior towards the country. Addressing the Majlis open session this morning, Larijani said the era of political games is over. Pointing to the upcoming nuclear talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 in Baghdad, the speaker said Tehran pursues fair stands in order to settle the existing nuclear dispute, although the bullying powers follow the double-standard policies. The Iranian nation insists on its rights; he stressed, adding that the Iranians welcome realistic negotiations. Iran and the sextet- the US, Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany- are to hold negotiations in Baghdad, Iraq, on May 23.
