Majlis Backs Nuclear Negotiating Team : MP

Damavand, Tehran, Nov 30, IRNA – Vice-Speaker of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Mohammad Reza Bahonar has said that Iranian lawmakers support the country’s nuclear negotiating team. Speaking in a local ceremony, Bahonar on Friday appreciated recent diplomatic efforts made and adopted by Iran's negotiating team in Geneva, Switzerland. Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany) held five days of intensive talks in the Swiss city from November 20-24. The talks concluded by the two sides reaching a first step nuclear deal. Bahonar said, enemies have caused distrust among Iranians since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran (1979) by making various conspiracies which aimed at destroying the country. However, he added, Iranians have changed all sanctions into an opportunity for progress./end
