Mongolia-Belarus cooperation to be intensified
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A regular cabinet meeting ran Saturday discussed results of the official visit of the Belarusian Prime Minister M.V.Myasnikovich paid to Mongolia on September 3-5, 2013, and then ordered the Minister of Foreign Affairs to submit the matter to the National Security Council (NSC).
During the visit, the countries signed ten documents on the visa-free travelling of people with an aim to strengthen the bilateral economic, trade and developmental collaboration and on the cooperation in the fields of customs, military-technique, education, road, transportation and agriculture.
The cabinet approved a Mongolia-Belarus intergovernmental agreement on the bilateral military-technical cooperation which was signed within the Belarusian PM’s visit. Accordingly, the countries will cooperate in repairing and renovating military techniques, supplying some technologies and training Mongolians in military academy and institute of Belarus.
The cabinet also adopted the bilateral intergovernmental agreements on exempting the countries’ people from the visa requirements and on rendering mutual assistance on customs.
