Next year budget will be an operating budget

Gorgan, Golestan Prov., Dec 9, IRNA – Head of the Cultural Council of President’s Office Hojatoleslam Seyed Reza Akrami says the state budget bill for the year 1394 (2015-2016) has been regulated in an operating manner. Speaking to IRNA here, he said the next year budget has tried to prevent parallel work which used to be done in the past and wasted the time of the Majlis. He said the next year budget is different from the current year’s, adding that by taking a glance at the budget bill it will be noticed that the country was faced with problems in terms of oil revenues and thus the oil price in the next year budget has been fixed at $70 per barrel. Referring to the timely presentation of the budget bill to the Majlis, Hojatoleslam Akrami said the attention the president has attached to the factor of time is highly praiseworthy, adding that this would enable MPs to carefully examine the budget before the end of the year. The 8,370,000 billion rial budget bill was presented to the Majlis by the president on Sunday according to which the public budget amounts to 2,670,000 rials. The oil price is set at $72 and the US dollar at 28500 rials in the budget bill. Moreover, there will be 14% increase in government employees salary and 33% reliance on oil revenues. The head of the Cultural Council of President’s Office is in Gorgan for the national poetry congress of Ahl-al-Bait (A.S.) which was opened here on Monday in the presence of Sunni and Shiite poets and minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance./end
