North Korea keen to enhance ties with Iran

TEHRAN,Sept.2(MNA) -- In a meeting with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran on Saturday, the chairman of the Presidium of the North Korean Supreme People’s Assembly, Kim Yong-nam, said that it is one of the strategic policies of Pyongyang to increase relations with Iran. Ayatollah Khamenei also said that there is enormous potential for the expansion of ties between the two countries. The Leader added that the Islamic Republic and North Korea have common enemies because the hegemonistic powers do not tolerate independent governments.
