ANKARA (A.A) - December 19, 2011 - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and an accompanying delegation will arrive in Turkey on Monday. In a statement released Monday, the Turkish Presidential Press Center has said that Abbas will arrive in Turkey on a working trip between December 19 and 21. Abbas will meet his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, the Press Center said. During Abbas's visit, Turkey's support to the recognition of the Palestinian state will be affirmed and officials would exchange views on the recent developments in the region, the Press Center also said.
