President: Global Leadership System Opposes Progress Of Independent Nations

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Hanoi on Saturday that the present global leadership system is against progress of the world’s independent nations. According to a statement issued by the Press and Information Center of the Presidential Office, President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguen Phu Trong. The Iranian President arrived in Hanoi on Friday to discuss major bilateral, regional and international developments with senior officials of that country. He stressed that the present global ruling system, controlled by western capitalists, is the same system which imposed years of violence on Vietnam and years of dictatorship on Iran in the past. However, the two nations have successfully overcome their hard days and are currently rushing towards progress, said the President referring to the existing appropriate relations between Iran and Vietnam. He also referred to his visit to Vietnam as a major step towards strengthening Tehran-Hanoi ties./end
