President Urges Special Attention To Border Villages

Tehran, Oct 6, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani called for especial attention to rural areas close to borderlines. The President made the remarks here Monday in his inauguration speech at the first national gathering to celebrate Village Day. He noted that villages located close to borderlines play a deterrent role against enemies, adding that people of such villages are both border duelers and border guards. Given the sensitive role of borderline villages, President Rouhani called on officials to make greater efforts to delp their development./end
