Russian Analyst Predicts US Downfall
Moscow, Nov 28, IRNA -- Russian Analyst and Lecturer of Diplomatic Academy affiliated to Russian Foreign Ministry Igor Panarin on Tuesday predicted downfall of the US due to escalation of public tension.
He said US will fall apart and an economic and moral collapse will trigger a civil war and the eventual breakup of the country.
Panarin had already predicted US downfall in 2010, through which he has found eager audience in and out of Russia.
He said the process of events leading up to a full-blown civil war on American soil, like the one that is currently gripping Syria and it proves an incredible political crisis and intensification of civil wars the same as the ones occurred from 1861- 1865 in that country.
The academician said after announcing the result of US Presidential election on November 6, the citizens of 50 states of the country called for leaving the US system.
"Only in Texas more than 300,000 citizens wished for their state to be independent of the United States Government," Panarin added.
The analyst prophesized that US unrest will result from the economy's failure to improve from 'Great Recession' and its 16,000 billion dollars foreign debts which will lead to the fall of the country maybe in 2016.
According to the analyst, US will split along ethnic lines and foreign powers will move into the country, for example California will form the nucleus of what he calls "The Californian Republic," and will be part of China or under Chinese influence. "Texas will be the heart of The Texas Republic a cluster of states that will go to Mexico or fall under Mexican influence," he added.
"Washington, D.C., and New York will be part of an "Atlantic America" that may join the European Union and Canada will grab a group of Northern states and "The Central North American Republic."
Hawaii, he suggests, will be a protectorate of Japan or China, and Alaska will be subsumed into Russia," Panarin added.
He said the existing colonial power of US will have the destiny of Russian Tsars in 1917 which had been collapsed with the hard works of US and UK intelligence services.
Panarin described US international creditability as a dead country because of increasing anti-US sentiments all over the world.
Prof. Panarin, 50 year-old and a former KGB analyst, is dean of the Russian Foreign Ministry's academy for future diplomats.
He is invited to Kremlin receptions, lectures students, publishes books, and appears in the media as an expert on U.S.-Russia relations.
Panarin's ideas are now being widely discussed among local experts.
He presented his theory at a recent roundtable discussion at the Russian Foreign Ministry./end
