Russian and Turkish diplomats discuss Syrian settlement

MOSCOW, December 28 /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, who is Russia’s Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and Africa, has met Turkey’s Ambassador to Moscow Huseyin Lazip Dirioz to discuss the Syrian settlement in the context of agreements, which the top diplomats of Russia, Turkey and Iran reached on December 20, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday. "The sides discussed urgent regional problems, including the Syrian crisis, and the interaction between Moscow and Ankara on a package of issues related to the Syrian settlement in the context of agreements, which the foreign ministers of Russia, Turkey and Iran had reached in Moscow on December 20," the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.
