Russian expert urges West to interact with Iran

Moscow, Nov 2, IRNA – A Russian Iranologist and expert on Sunday called on the West to interact with Iran, instead of exerting pressure on the country. Talking to IRNA, Ludmila Kulagina underscored that all Iran's nuclear activities are within the framework of international criteria. Tehran has always announced its readiness to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), she reiterated. In negotiations with P5+1, Tehran has tried its best to resolve the existing issues, she said, stressing that such an approach is an indication to Tehran's goodwill aimed at removing differences and settling disputes. Denouncing the West's unilateral sanctions and pressures against Iran, she called for lifting of all the anti-Iran sanctions./end
