Russian President awards Archbishop of Baku and Azerbaijan Eparchy

Baku, April 11, AZERTAC Russian President Vladimir Putin has conferred Friendship Order upon Archbishop of Baku and Azerbaijan Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church Alexander Ischein. A decree signed by the Russian President says that the order recognizes Alexander Ischein`s contribution to the activities of the Russian diaspora, as well as his role in strengthening inter-faith understanding and cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.
