S Leader: Western Countries Have Mobilized All Their Power Against Islam

Tehran, June 8, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the western countries have mobilized all their powers against Islam. The Supreme Leader made the remarks Saturday morning as he received the winners of the 30th International Quran Competitions which began in the Iranian capital last week. Referring to unity and solidarity as one of most significant guidelines for Muslims as mentioned in the Holy Quran, the Supreme Leader said any voice raised against Muslims which might pit Islamic sects against each other is the voice of Satan. He said killing and bloodshed as well as blind terrorism and its catastrophic consequences which provide opportunities for the Zionist regime are of the outcomes of discord and disagreement within the Islamic Ummah. Ayatollah Khamenei further urged the Islamic Ummah to strengthen elements of power within itself to confront enemies and particularly boost unity and concentrate on common points./end
