S.African President Sends Condolences To Iran

Pretoria, Aug 15, IRNA -- South African President Jacob Zuma on Tuesday expressed condolence to Iranian nation and government on deadly quake disaster. He sympathized with Iran on behalf of South African people and government on deaths caused by twin quakes in towns of Ahar and Varzagan in northwest Iran, close to the city of Tabriz. "In this time of sadness and bereavement, the government and people of South Africa hold the bereaved families in their thoughts and prayers," Zuma said. He also prayed to God for speedy recovery of those injured. Meanwhile, there has been no report that any South African national was affected by the quake./end
