Scholar: Iran Embassy Attack A Message To Nuclear Talks

New York, Nov 24, IRNA – A Houston University scholar said the recent terrorist attack against the Iranian Embassy in Lebanon was resulted from the Syrian developments and Iran’s nuclear talks. Talking to IRNA, Gerald Horne said the attack could have carried a message to the nuclear talks between Iran and 5+1 which has been a source of concern for the Zionist regime and a number of regional countries. He explained that both the Zionist regime and the Saudi Arabia were extremely worried about the change of policy in the Obama administration towards Iran and tried to sabotage in the procedure of the nuclear negotiations. He said the main questions to be answered about the attack are who masterminded it, who benefited from it and who supports the al-Gaeda in Syria. Commenting on the probable role of the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia in masterminding the terrorist attacks in Beirut, he stressed that it could have sent a message to the Iranian nuclear talks saying in case of a nuclear agreement between Iran and the 5+1 they would tarnish it and stop it./end
