50 Mins. Flight Takes Iran's National Football Team To Curitiba, Brazil

Sao Paulo, June 15, IRNA – A fifty minute flight will this morning (Sunday) Tehran time, Sunday evening Brazil time, take the Iranian national football team to Curitiba, where they will on Monday face their first competitors, Nigeria on Monday evening. The Iranian side played it last preparation game before facing Nigeria in Sao Paulo in the presence of a large number of Argentinean and Nigerian reporters, after which they headed for their residence hotel and got a good night’s rest. The Iranian national football team will at 16:55 local time leave Sao Paolo for Curitiba on a fifty minute flight. After their first match versus Nigeria, the Iranian national team will again fly back to Sao Paulo to continue its practices in Camp Corintians. The Iranian and Nigerian teams in the 6th group of the 2014 Brazil World Cup will face each other at 23:30, Monday, Tehran time. The Iranian national football team is grouped in the games’ Group F along with Argentina, Nigeria, and Bosnian and Herzegovina in this 20th FIFA men’s World Cup. On June 16 the Iranian team will in its first match face Nigeria, on June 21 they will have their toughest game facing the several times’ world champs Argentina, and on June 25, 2014, the Iranian team will play against Bosnian and Herzegovina. The 2014 Brazil World Cup is scheduled to begin here on Friday June 13 after the June 12 opening ceremony and to the Ending Ceremony of the Cup will be held on July 13./end
