Iran, Georgia Review Bilateral Sports Co-op

Baku, Dec 19, IRNA – Iranian and Georgian officials in a meeting on Tuesday reviewed avenues to bolster bilateral sports cooperation. The meeting was held in Tbilisi with participation of Iran's Ambassador to Georgia Madjid Saber and Georgian Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Levan Kipiani. The two sides also stressed the need to sign agreement on expansion of sports cooperation. The two officials further called for exchange of athletes as well as sports officials to pave the way for further boost in bilateral ties./end
