Iranian grandmaster ranks second in Asian Chess Championship

Tehran, April 28, IRNA – Iranian chess woman grandmaster, Atousa Pourkashian, on Sunday received silver medal in Asian Chess Championship held in Sharjah, the UAE. In the tournament which was held in nine rounds and in Swiss Style, Pourkashian took the second place with 6 points. Ehsan Ghaem Maghami, another Iranian International Grandmaster received a bronze medal in Rapid Chess although he had defeated his Chinese rival who finished first in the tournament. end
