Cypriot leaders meet UN secretary general in New York

NEW YORK/GREENTREE (A.A) - January 23, 2012 - President Dervis Eroglu of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon gathered in Greentree, New York on Monday within the scope of the 5th tripartite Cyprus Summit. Talks will continue all day long to find a solution for Cyprus issue. Ban's special adviser for Cyprus Alexander Downer is expected to hold a press conference following the meeting which is closed to press. The meeting will continue all day on Tuesday too. Ban will hold a press conference on Wednesday at UN headquarters regarding the meeting.
