Turkish Airlines increases number of daily flights to New York's Kennedy Airport

ISTANBUL (A.A) - Turkey's national air carrier, Turkish Airlines (THY), will increase its number of daily flights from Istanbul to New York's Kennedy Airport as of May 2012. In a written statement released, the THY has said that the company would fly from Istanbul to New York three times a day between May 28 and September 16. Flights from Istanbul to New York will take place at 07.25, 13.05 and 18.20 hours while flights from New York to Istanbul will take place at 12.50, 18.25 and 00.05 hours. THY's flights to New York will take place with Airbus 330-300 and Boeing 777 jets. THY is the national flag carrier airline of Turkey, headquartered in Istanbul. It operates scheduled services to 150 international and 41 domestic cities (38 domestic airports), serving a total of 187 airports, in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
