Iran-Spain Sign Cultural-Educational Agreement

Madrid, Feb 26, IRNA - Iran's Cultural Attache to Spain Amir Pezeshkpour and Spanish Alikante University Chancellor Ignacio Jiménez Raneda on Saturday signed and agreement to establish an Irannology Center the Madrid-based university. The agreement was signed with an aim of boosting the two countries' cultural interactions. Some outstanding Spanish Iranologists such as Jose Maria Blasketh, Joan Martus and Jose Francisco Kotias will be members of the Iranology Center as per the agreement. Raneda described Alikante University as a house of Iran and welcomed expansion of Iran-Spain relations. He said establishment of the center would give a boost to Iranian-Spainish cultural relations./end
