Turkey's EU minister shuns Belgium mosque attack

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkey's European Union Minister and Chief Negotiator for accession talks Egemen Bagis condemned Tuesday an arson attack on a mosque in Brussels, the Belgian capital. "I strongly condemn the attack on the mosque no matter who did it or why it was done," Bagis told reporters during a meeting in Ankara with chief Muslim cleric of Montenegro, Rifat Feyzic. The attack on the the Rida mosque -- the largest Shia mosque in Brussels -- killed the mosque's 46-year-old imam and injured another person.
