Envoy: IAEA Inspections Approve Of Iran's Peaceful N-program

Tehran, May 19, IRNA – Iran Ambassador to France Ali Ahani, in an article published in “Le Monde” Newspaper, wrote that IAEA inspections approve of Iran peaceful nuclear program and show that there is no deviation in Iranian program. Ahani wrote in the article that considering serious intention of both sides and if realism prevails, Baghdad negotiations will open a road to an agreement which removes west's concerns and creates confidence for Iran to continue its uranium enrichment with peaceful goals on its own soil. He added that all Iranian nuclear activities are under International Atomic Energy Agency's supervision, so continuation of Iranian activities and uranium enrichment should not worry the West. Ahani concluded that Iran does not expect France to distance itself from its own allies, but at least it hopes that Paris takes a constructive and realistic view on the issue and recognize Iran’s inalienable rights in the field of peaceful nuclear technology./end
