Nazarbayev: Kazakhstan Ready To Host Iran-5+1 Talks

Astana, June 27, IRNA – Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev announced his country's readiness to host next round of nuclear talks between Iran and the Group 5+1. President Nazarbayev made the remarks in his meeting with visiting Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi. The Kazakh president said Tehran and Astana enjoy excellent level of cooperation and his country is keen to promote economic relations between the two nations. Critical situation in Syria was among major items discussed by the two officials. Salehi, for his part, referred tp Iran-Kazakhstan ties as close and amicable. Iran’s foreign minister is currently in Kazakhstan to attend the 12th joint economic commission session of the two countries./end
