FM Official Discloses Joint Plot By MKO : German Daily

Tehran, July 8, IRNA – Foreign Ministry official Hassan Qashqavi disclosed a joint plot by the terrorist Mojahedeen-e Khalq Organization (MKO) and a German tabloid newspaper with strong Zionist sentiments against Iran. Qashqavi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular and Parliamentary Affairs, rejected allegations leveled against an Iranian diplomat serving in Germany by the spokesman of the Frankfurt Prosecutor. The orchestrated plot by the MKO and 'The Bild' in planning, implementing and publicizing the news reveals their continuous efforts to hatch plots against the Islamic Republic of Iran, he reiterated. Given the damages the Iranian diplomat has suffered due to the inappropriate treatment of the German police, Qashqavi said the Iranian Foreign Ministry will follow up the case vigorously. The Bild has very strong Zionist tendencies. Two of its reporters were arrested in the northwestern city of Tabriz in 2010 for illegal entry to country and conducting illegal journalistic activities though holding only tourist visas. The paper has always adopted very hostile stands against Iran. It had once published false news about Iran's alleged plans to hit the US military facilities in Germany. All these reveal that publishing such news by the daily is a pre-planned scenario against the Islamic Republic of Iran./end
