MP : Iran's Hosting Of NAM Meet Indicates Active Diplomacy

Orumiyeh, West Azarbijan prov, Aug 5, IRNA – A parliamentarian said here on Sunday that hosting the 16th NAM summit by Tehran indicates Iran’s active diplomacy both at the regional and international arenas. Mo’ayed Hosseini, an MP from the northwestern city of Khoy in Majlis, told IRNA that the upcoming Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Tehran, to be held from August 26-31, would indicate Iran’s determining position in regional and international developments. “It’s been a long time that the world arrogance is trying to portray Iran as an isolated country decreasing Tehran’s role in global decision-making process,” said the MP. He reiterated that the NAM meeting would prove Iran’s authority and will be an indication to the failure of the West’s efforts to isolate the Islamic Republic. /end
