Georgia Condoles With Iran On Killer Quake

Baku, Aug 14, IRNA – Georgian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condoled with the Iranian government and nation on deadly twin quakes that hit northwestern East Azarbaijan Province. Voicing deep sorrow over the calamity, it expressed sympathy with the families of the victims. Two strong earthquakes leveled villages and damaged homes in northwestern Iran on Saturday, killing at least 300 people and injuring more than 2,000 others./end
