Cultural Packages To Be Presented To NAM Participants

Tehran, Aug 26, IRNA - Head of the Cultural and Arts Organization of Tehran's Municipality Amir Khorakian said Sunday that some 3,000 cultural packages including photos, postcards and information about the Iranian capital, Tehran, were prepared to be presented to the participants of the 16th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement. Khorakian said the packages which were in three Persian, Arabic and English languages, introduce the old and modern Tehran to the representatives of the NAM member states. The packages named "Tehran, Capital of Two Centuries" also introduce theaters, museums and different historical places in Tehran, said the official. The 16th Non-Aligned Movement Summit meeting is planned for August 26-31. The experts meeting of the NAM summit kicked off in the Iranian capital earlier Sunday morning with a speech by Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi./end
