2nd Day Of NAM Ministerial Meeting Begins In Tehran

Tehran, Aug 29, IRNA – Foreign Ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement member states started the second day of their meeting here Wednesday to discuss the issue of restoring a lasting peace through common global management. They are also to review and ratify the draft statement of the NAM's 16th Summit which is to be held in the Iranian capital on August 30-31 with a speech by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The ministerial meeting which began Tuesday with the participation of over 80 NAM foreign ministers will end this afternoon. During the first day of the ministerial meeting, Iran received the presidency over the NAM foreign ministerial meeting from Egypt./end
