Leader Stresses Reviving Potential Of Religious Schools

Tehran, Sept 5, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei here on Wednesday stressed the need to revive the exclusive potentials of religious schools. The ayatollah made the remarks in a meeting with the members of the supreme council of religious schools in Iran. He further pointed to the sublime position of the council in training and educating students in religious schools who would create a difference, underscoring the need for focusing on bringing about developments in these schools. The Supreme Leader also underlined the importance of enhancing morality, thinking and religious knowledge of students in religious seminaries. Stressing that the top agenda of seminary schools is to train and educate jurisprudents, Ayatollah Khamenei said introducing such scholarly areas as philosophy and rhetorics too should be considered./end
