Khatami urges OIC to oblige U.S. to prevent spread of religious conflicts

TEHRAN,Sept.16(MNA) – Former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to oblige the U.S. government to deal with those involved in the production and promotion of the U.S. anti-Islam film and to take serious and practical measures to prevent the spread of religious and ethnic conflicts. Khatami made the remarks in a letter that he sent to OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu on Thursday.
