Transparent election can help restore moderation: Iranian EC chairman

TEHRAN,Dec.5(MNA) – Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Monday that a “free”, “transparent”, and “legal” election can pave the way for restoration of moderation in the country. Ayatollah Rafsanjani also stated that if such an election is held, the people, including all active political figures, will accept the result of the election and, with the grace of God, the country’s problems will be resolved through their cooperation with the government.
