Iran FM Meets Counterparts In Addis Ababa

Tehran, Jan 28, IRNA – Iran's FM Ali Akbar Salehi reviewed issues of mutual interest with his counterparts from Benin, Burkina Faso and Egypt in the Ethiopian capital on Monday. The meetings were held on the sidelines of the 20th African Union (AU) Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on January 27-28. In his separate meetings with foreign ministers of Benin Nassirou Arifari Bako, Burkina Faso Dibrell Bassole and Egypt, Mohamed Kamel Amr, the twp sides discussed latest regional and global developments. Salehi expressed the Islamic Republic of Iran's readiness, as the current president of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), to help settle the economic crisis in Mali through peaceful means. In related developments, Salehi met with Turkish Development Minister Cevdet Yilamz on regional developments and bilateral ties./end
