North Khorasan Exports Exceed $180m

Bojnourd, March 5, IRNA – North Khorasan province exported goods wroth of $180 million in the past 11 months, said deputy head of provincial Industry, Mine and Commerce Organization. Mehrdad Davoudzadeh told IRNA that some 338,000 tons of various goods produced in the province were exported to foreign states during the past 11 month-period. Exports show an increase of 10 percent compared to the figure for the last year while it registered a rise of 21 percent in value, he noted, adding that half of the exports pertain to the products of Khorasan Petrochemical Complex located in Bojnourd. The provinceˈs products are currently exported to 20 countries, Davoudzadeh said, noting that 30 percent of the goods are exported to Turkmenistan, the northern neighbor of the province./end
